Its time for a Change

I’m not sure if everyone was inspired by the historic election or not. I happen to be an African American that supported Barack Obama, but the reason I am excited has more to do withthe opportunity we have in America. I meet people on a daily basis and they are confused, frustratedupset, even downright depressed about the current state of affairs they are in financially. The bewildering part about this is that most only want to complain about how bad everything is and how dire the economy is, when I try to convince them otherwise there is always an excuse. Why complain when you can do something about it, your life, your destiny can be controlled by you. Think about this, most of you are not trying to do something that has never been done before, most can follow a proven path to success.
Every morning I wake up I see opportunity and I see the ability to accomplish and do anything I set my mind to achieve. If I fail I do not blame the world for my failure I blame myself. Failure will happen, so become immune to coming up short, not hitting the mark the first time, but try again and again. Stop having a pity party about where you are, and put together a plan for your future. Barack won the election for several reasons, most will say it is because of the bad economy or other reasons, but the main reason I feel Barack won was due to the plan he had and he did not deviate. Look at the roadblocks and obstacles that he had to overcome to win, for most of us to achieve a moderate amount of success we probably will not have to do all the things Barack had to do to make his dream a reality.
I say all of this to say that whatever you want you can have, it starts and stops with you, how bad do you
want financial independence, how bad do you want to have control of your life. When your desire overcomes
